Melting Pot Fondue Restaurant Girls Night Out
Being English I am wanting to try a few of the American restaurants that are not in the UK. Especially when I have my mum with me in LA and my pornstar girlfriends in town.
Jordan Kingsley, Tanya Tate, Twiggy Tate & Kerry Louise Eat Desert
Whilst I was busy spending 3 hours trying to sort the damn hire car out my mum, aka Twiggy Tate, and Jordan where sitting chatting about new places to eat. Jordan booked a table at a restaurant and I was told be ready by 7.30pm.
Off I went to collect the car and then go shopping in one of the local shopping malls with my mum. When we got out of the mall it had gone dark. Oh no I had forgotten my glasses. I am blind as a bat when it comes to being able to see in the dark. Well actually I can see but glasses make it a little sharper. No worries though I got us home in one piece, only 10 minutes to Jordans house in bright street lights.
It was a magical mystery tour for me where we going. Something about some pot restaurant. I was too busy rushing to get ready. Kerry Louise was busy getting ready too, she called me and asked where we were going. I said Jordan had booked the table and did she want to come also on the magical mystery tour as I had no idea where we were eating. Sure Kerry Louise wanted to come with us too.
So the restaurant we arrived at for our girls night out was called The Melting Pot. It was a fondue restaurant. Basically you have a big heated pot in the middle of the table which melts or cooks your food. We had several courses of cheese, salad, meats and veg. We cooked our own chicken, steak and lobster tail in hot oil. The final course was the best. Desert was a melting pot of chocolate where you could dip in strawberries, rice crispie cakes, brownies, marshmallows. I choose white chocolate flambeed with caramel and walnuts. Oh my god this was to die for. My mum even got an extra little birthday cake to celebrate her birthday week in LA.
So much food. I would love to go back there and save more space for more gooey sticky desert.
