I had an opportunity to be in the documentary “Aroused”. The film, directed by British photographer Deborah Anderson, captures the making of a fine art photographic book featuring 16 of the world’s most successful adult film stars.

The “Aroused” documentary premiered at the famous Landmark theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday 1st May 2013 and press have been raving about the documentary.

“The Aroused Project” is a documentary film directed by celebrity photographer Deborah Anderson. The film is about the adult industry, but focuses on women in porn and why they got into the industry. I am featured in “The Aroused Project” alongside lots of other girls like Brooklyn Lee, Alexis Texas, Misty Stone, Francesca Le, Lisa Ann, Belladonna, Lexi Belle, Allie Haze, Ash Hollywood, Katsuni, Kayden Kross, Asphyxia Noir, April O’Niel, Trgan Presley and Jessie Jane. It’s a really beautiful film and because Deborah Anderson is a photographer, she created a coffee table book of all the woman in the film as well. Between the fantastic movie and the gorgeous coffee table book, I am so proud I got to be a part of such an amazing project.
Deborah recently had a private screening and unveiling of the book in Beverly Hills. I was honored to be invited. It took place in a beautiful theatre and my friends and fellow co stars in the film, Misty Stone and Francesca Le were there as well. There was a cocktail party before the movie. I had a new drink I’d never tried before. Wedding Cake Vodka mixed with Pineapple Juice. It’s delicious! Then we got bags of popcorn and boxes of old school movie theatre candy to take in with us for the film. Here’s a picture of me in the theatre. See the box of “Mike and Ikes” in my lap? Heehee.
Overall it was a really fun night. The movie, “The Aroused Project” is not available to view yet. Deborah and the producers are going to run it through the festival circuit before they release it to the public, but when it gets released, you guys have to see it. Fabulous british photographer Deborah Anderson photographed me for her new coffee book and documentary The Aroused Project. I met up with Deborah and her team when I went to AVN Awards. They filmed footage of me meeting my fans and walking the red carpet at AVN.

Tanya Tate In Mainstream Coffee Table Book Shoot
I recently shot for a mainstream photographer Deborah Anderson for a high end coffee table book. There were cameras there recording everything to be made into a documentary.
I was picked up in a cadillac and driven around Beverly Hills. The camera crew filmed me in the car. It was all in black and white, with the sun shining on my face, it looked awesome. When I first met Deborah, the photographer, at the house I found she was so friendly.
We chatted like old friends. We had so much in common. Her parents where even from my home town, Liverpool. I was offered a cup of PG Tips… ah I am so British.
Deborah photographed me naked except for a pair of shoes. Very glamourous poses, no open legs shots. It was funny. Sometimes I accidentally did my ‘porn face’ and made an oooh noise.
She talked to me during the shoot about my background, growing up, getting into the industry and being in the industry. Deborah was a wonderful person. Before I left she gave me a signed copy of her book Deborah Anderson’s Paperthin. Other girls she has shot for the include Teagan Presley, Belladonna, Lisa Ann, Lexi Belle, Misty Stone, Allie Haze, Asphyxia Noir, Ash Hollywood and April O’Neil. I am so excited to see the completed documentary and read her new book ”Aroused: The Lost Sensuality of a Woman.”
