Here’s a treat from my appearance at WonderCon, a hilarious video interview with my pal Kassem G!

Kassem G is a professional sketch comedian with a popular YouTube channel. I met Kassem at EXXXOTICA last year and when he spotted me in my sexy Julie Newmar Catwoman suit at WonderCon he just had to have a closer look.
In the video interview, Kassem teases me about mispronouncing his name in my British accent and asks me how I handle grabby fans. On Saturday he interviewed me again and got a good look at my brand new Tanya Tate superhero cosplay. As always, I want to know what you think! Which cosplay do you like better? WonderCon is an annual celebration of comic books and pop culture taking place in Anaheim, California March 29th – 31st. Tanya begins her WonderCon weekend by representing FirstComicsNews.com on a panel with other entertainment media specialist titled How To Get News Coverage. As a genre blogger and reviewer as well as a publicist, Tanya is well versed on both sides of the media.
“I’m honored to be part of this panel,” Tanya noted. “It consists of the top people in geek media news. For me to be sitting next to them and taking part of it, is an incredible feeling. I look forward to it.”
How To Get News Coverage panel will be held in Room 213 on Friday, March 29th at 3:30pm.
Tanya will also be making a special signing appearance at the Geekscape.net booth on Friday and Saturday. Geekscape is the internet’s premiere geek site about movies, videogames, comics and the culture that thrives from them. There Tanya will be signing her geek-centric merchandise which includes 8x10s and her book; Tanya Tate: My Life In Costume.
“Geekscape is an awesome community of pop culture enthusiasts,” said Tanya. “I feel very special to be able to sign at their booth.”

This month I will be making not one but two appearances at California comic conventions. I will be heading to the South Bay for the Long Beach Comic Con One Day Show on April 23rd. Then inland to Anaheim for the Wizard World Comic Con on April 30th.
I am really excited to be getting dressed up as my favourite superheros and going to the Comic Conventions.
My 1st comic book convention was San Diego Comic Con in 2010. Since then I have taken part in events like the Largest Gathering of Superheroes which made the Guinness World Records at L.A. Live last October.
I have become really popular with lots of the comic book message boards and media sites. The popular site ComicImpact.com even made me the reigning Cosplay Girl of the Month for April.

Long Beach Comic Con Invisible Woman aka Susan Storm
I went to Long Beach Comic Con dressed as the Marvel superhero Invisible Woman aka Susan Storm from Marvel’s Fantastic 4.

I had my costume custom made by Bed Behavior in Hollywood. A skin tight navy blue catsuit with plunging neckline. The people at the store Sharon and Ashley Elisabeth and the guy on the sewing machine got my costume together in time for Halloween weekend.
I went to Long Beach Comic Con for some cosplay during Halloween weekend. Some of the superheros I saw were Doctor Doom, Wolverine, Batman, Joker. With it being Halloween I saw some frightening sights. Even the pig from Saw tried to use his knives on me.
I jumped into the middle of storm trooper having their picture taken, I don’t think the guys minded though lol. I bumped into Candence St John who was hanging out with some other pornstars at comic con.
The creator of The Invisible Woman Stan Lee was also signing at the show, alas not at the time I was there.
I took plenty of pictures and had many pictures taken by press, attendees and fans. Will let you know if I make it to any other websites. If you see me also do let me know. I loved the outfit so much that I wore it for the pornstar Halloween party in Hollywood later the same day.
The character Sue Storm was played by Jessica Alba in Fantastic Four movies. Pamela Anderson also played a superhero dressed in the same outfit for Superhero Movie. Check out my pics and see if you think I make a hot Invisible Woman.

Breaking World Record Largest Gathering of Superheroes
This weekend I went downtown to LA Live for the launch of the movie Megamind to break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of superheros in any one place.

I got to LA live at 8am on Saturday morning 2nd October 2010. To register I had to dress up as a superhero and so I chose Emma Frost, from Marvels X-Men.
The record attempt coincided with the new movie about to be screened, Megamind from Dreamworks. I joined Will Ferrel with over 1500 people all dressed as Superheros.
The countdown was at 10am. It was declared 1580 people where there dressed as superheros, a new Guinness World Record was declared.
There were lots of characters there Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, and other X-Men characters.
I was interviewed and photographed by members of the press. There was only one cosplay Emma Frost, that was me Tanya Tate. Some of the reporters thought I was dressing up as Storm, maybe this should be a future costume.
The best picture of the day was me meeting DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg.
